Why won't they eat "incredible food" by default?
I noticed that when I made specific recipes like flatbread, they would eat those first when set to auto but when there are normal rations and incredible food, they eat the rations.

Does anyone know how to fix this??? Thanks!

Hmm... in my experience they always prioritize the highest quality food and food that gives the most hunger.

If you don't want a specific type of food to be eaten, you can right click it then click the option "Auto eat off" that will add a lock icon of the top right of the food preventing any trucker to eat it, The game will give you a notification if all "auto eat foods" are depleted.

Are you sure it says "incredible food" and not "inedible food"?

I've never seen "incredible food" in this game, but I have seen "inedible food" when I was experimenting with cooking ingredients that I thought would work together. Some did, some didn't. The ones that didn't produced "inedible food".

Inedible food can be eaten (so it's not actually inedible) but it will not be auto-eaten.

Incidentally, you can cook rations. Cooked rations are slightly better than uncooked rations. A bit better for stress, IIRC. A minor benefit of some sort, definitely. It's worth doing if you don't have any better food. The only drawback is that cooked rations don't count for events that require rations (e.g. feeding or adopting a stray dog you randomly encounter while driving).

Handy to know, I'll be sure to cook some of my rations!
