Similar game for PC playing Caterpillar/Snake that eats apples!?

I remember an old game for PC (I believe it may have been one of the default games for the OS) that my friend had that was EXTREMELY similar to this game. After 5+ years, I'm at a loss for the title after 3 random times I've tried traversing Google for the name. I will be buying this game because it has better graphics and essentially looks the same, but if ANYONE knows the game I'm speaking of I'd really appreciate a reply <3

It's a whole genre. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snake_%28video_game%29 might help. "Nibbles" was included in MS-DOS5. Maybe this was the one you remember ?

It is not : ( I feel like the game must be part of my imagination. I see NO evidence of it's existence anywhere lol. I was really hoping you would be my savior today, dreser :P

The graphics of the game were considerably better than the 2 games mentioned above. The graphics were very similar to the game Millie. The big difference is there was no special abilities like the stopwatch or scissors; It is was just eating apples and avoiding your tail until all apples were eaten. If it helps, the year was around 2002 when I first played it. I've never seen the game on any other PC other than my friends though.
