how do I hand in the wrench?

im trying to give sami the pipe wrench. but I cant seem to. it was the pipe wrench right?

I have like 2 pipe wrenches from the corssing roads place. and iv tryed talking to sammi. idk if im just dumb or its bugged

The way I turned it in was talking to Sammi, asking about jobs, which opened up her mission board screen, and I could turn it in there

seemed to have worked after going back to the main menu and going back in game. and i have been able to complete quests since then

Did you have the wrench equipped? Took me like 60 hours to realise you can't trade equipped things and thought it was just some alpha build jank

nah. I had it in my inventory. I tryed to see if having it equipped helped. idk why it works now but I can only guess the reloading of the game fixed it?

You need to turn it in like a regular contract job, which entails speaking to her and asking about work while you have a wrench in your backpack. I'm pretty sure you can also turn it in at the nearby job board without speaking to her at all, but I can't ask the job board about world lore.
