Gold cap mushrooms
where can I find or trade for gold cap mushrooms?

That's really weird. I was just about to ask the same thing. I want the trade it for the luftballoon. You probably do too. :steamfacepalm:

They randomly appear in the overworld, especially near mushroom spawns.

If you're particularly lucky, your starting duffle bag can spawn goldcaps (I once got an ENTIRE GOLD BAR WORTH $15,000 on a test run)

Traders will randomly have them. Sometimes they'll be trading an unlimited number of them for something you can buy from a vendor 20ft away.

yep, that's right
I remembered having an option of trading for them but couldn't find any
so I started to think that they may only be collectible and I sold mine XD
