Bank key in Metro?

Just wondering if anyone has found the key for the offices and vault at the Bank ? i have the code for the vault, but i can't seem to find a key to open the gate behind it. searched every floor of the building but no dice.. havn't ran into any vendors selling a key anywhere either.

My solution is to explore the Cistern under Crossroads, dealing with the darkness and nightmare fuel along the way to the Red Root cavern, and get the Skeleton Key in the special case nearby so you can open anything at the cost of some Eather.

interesting, i'll have to give the cistern a more careful exploration, see if i can find that artifact.

having a little trouble finding the red root cavern entrance through the Cistern, is it behind the locked blue door perhaps? have used the terminal in there to turn off the gas in a floor, also did a bit of swimming and found a friendly anomaly creature that wanted to trade. Noticed another locked door that looked like one of the entrances to dungeons (metal bunker style door with a valve handle) that was near a tram line.

Yes, it's behind the locked blue so use lockpicks until you open it, just be prepared to face potential anomalies and the spider-headed crawlers.

Also, upon re-exploring Cistern as a different character, I realized that I've been spoiled by coincidence and got a different artifact from the Red Root cavern.

Also also, very curious about the trader you found. Where do you find them in Cistern? I assume somewhere in the flooded area because you mentioned swimming.

Also the bunker door at the tram is likely a WIP area, may be accessible in the full release.

Thanks for some more details :) i got the blue door opened after i bought some lockpicks, didn't find a artifact in the chest with the red root, but i did find a really nice rare helmet the chest instead. as to where the merchant was, in the central cylinder of the cistern there is a flooded area with some tunnels running underneath. bring some oxygen tanks if you can and check the tunnels for an opening with some ladders leading out.. can't recall which tunnel it was exactly, but one of them kind of led to a little dead end with some kind of creature that opens a conversation when you get close to his grate. looked like he some cool stuff for trade, but i didn't enough of what he wanted to get anything on that trip. i'll go back and check it again tho, could try to get screenshots if you like?

glad you found him Koveserpent, i did make a handful of screenshots public to view, wasn't sure how to just post em directly to the thread, crazy how much stuff is actually just in this demo build.. i can't wait to see the final version when its done. Picked up a copy of Stalker 2 recently but honestly i just keep coming back to Project Silverfish heh.

Yeah, I'm hesitant to even admit how many hours I've sunk into this "demo." But I'm having so much fun with it! Discovering new weapons, ammo, artifacts, gear, trying different characters.
