cant find a location to finish a quest

i need to bring someone to Magnus but i for the life of me cant seem to find this place and it getting quite annoying. could someone please tell me where Magnu is?

Magus appears only in winter. In my play through it was a little bit north of Asmor and south of Yavli + Ayav (on the main 'island' north of the Kingdom), but I haven't tried to confirm that the location is permanent.

Magnus inn is a temporary location that shows up every winter

found it, then got stranded when it disappeared and had to wait for spring on the islands.... >.>

Do you have to get there by boat? or just watch for it to randomly appear?

the shores freeze up and you just travel on top of the ice when it spawns it will be on the ice

found Magnus when the ice covers the sea during winter it's just 1 day journey from Asmor you'll be able to travel to the island on the ice
