You can set the difficulty of the bots to Disabled and it will completely remove them.

When selecting the map of the mode you want. You see the difficulty setting for bots? If you cycle the different difficulties from like normal to easy, one of the options is disabled. Also lol 8 years have passed since I asked this question yet I just played the game yesterday with those same 6 people.
