Crawl
Gamecube controller?
I recently got a mayflash 4-port gamecube controller USB adapter for use with my PC and Smash, and I've been able to use my gamecube controller for most of my games, however crawl is an unfortunate exception. When it comes to adding players, it recognizes that a button is being pressed on the controller, but nothing else responds. When I rebind the controller, the axes are completely wrong and they are read as buttons, and the actual buttons don't work at all. I don't understand what's wrong!

Also don't recommend x360ce please, I've found absolutely no luck in it, and it keeps giving me errors.

Other than that, please help!

Thank you, those are actually great prices.... although I live in South Africa and I've heard it's $75 for a controller here.

x360ce :D:

Seriously, you should try again setting it up, maybe someone can help you out doing so? WHat kind of errors? Got 2 X360 (1 wired, 1 wireless) and 2 PS2 controllers via a generic PS2-USB adapter running with it for Crawl.

I don't remember exactly, but I remember not being able to actually make it work on games like speedrunners, where the controller was recognized, but it did nothing other than hold up on the left joystick. And then it started acting up for some reason... It started saying that some Dll's are missing, and that some memory was corrupt. I have no idea. I'll try it again this weekend and tell you what I get.

I really think Dave should take a look at this. This game works so beautifully with controllers; we just need support for MORE controllers!
