How do I get to use mouse and keyboard at the same time? Or what is the best setup?

I tried binding keys to WASD for movement but when I start the game by clicking with the mouse I only get mouse movement.

if i remember correctly the KBM doesn't have directional controls, moving and aiming is the same action, so it limits you. of all the different methods i used the gamepad was the best imo, and i almost always prefer KBM

There is no mouse control in the game. But when you click play, press the left mouse button and so you can play together on one computer. One controls the mouse, the second the keyboard.
It's quite difficult at first, but if you get used to it, you can play even better than on a gamepad due to the flexible accuracy.
