What is meant by "Local multiplayer?" [RESOLVED]
Hello! So, this game looks very fun, and I desparately want to play it. However, this is impossible since I can't quite play it with anyone (If anything, I'd be able to play in the summer). But what I'm wondering is what is meant by "local multiplayer"? Or, in other words, how is the game actually played with other people IRL. I read that "everyone plays on the same PC', but I don't quite understand what this means. Do I need something weird, like four mice, keyboards, or controllers?
EDIT: Do not worry if ihe answer is yes, I need multiple controllers (I'm starting to think this is the case), because I can do that. If so, would PS3 controllers work fine? They have USB cords, and I can even test this myself next spring break (Nuclear Throne has controller support, although that might not apply).

Local PC = You can only play at your computer, you COULD use one mouse and have the other players be on the keyboard, but thats VERY uncomfotrable. (The keyboard sucks for this game in my opinion anyways). Im not sure if ps3 controllers work, but xbox ones do for sure.

You can play "local multiplayer" with up to 4 friends on your couch in front of one screen. You could pull it off on one keyboard with you and another person, but if you want to play with more than that you will need controllers. PS3 controllers work just fine because that is what I use, but if you don't have enough USB Ports in your computer you can use both the controllers and the keyboard. There is also a single player version where you face off against AI. You can play with AI and other people, but there can't be over 4 people and AI playing in the game at once.

Thank you very much for your help! In this case, the problem would be cords (Notably length and amount), but I can manage.

You can buy a bluetooth adapter for like $20 and use your DS3 or DS4 controllers wireless.

Actually, I have a Bluetooth dongle leftover from a wireless headset (Which I believe isn'tworking anymore), so that makes everything better if that works. Thank you very much, I didn't even consider it.

Also, If you can't get remotes and have to sit aroung a keyboard, you can stream the game onto a separate computer to free up space a bit

You can play this with a mouse, keyboard, and controllers. If you're lonely and/or don't have any friends, you can play with 1-3 bots (Been doing that for the past 3 hours now [Insert Forever Alone Face]) And I'm not entirely sure if PS3 controllers work, but I know for a fact that Xbox controllers work, and I don't know why PS3 controllers wouldn't work. Just take to google or steam forums to see if, and if so, how PS3 controllers work with Steam. I looked and it said you may need to use some add-ons or buy a certain thing in order for it to work. Have a good day/night/afternoon/evening/idontcare
