its a studio of 2 humans. so i doubt it will get translation support for several languages in the near future. dude the vast majority of the community seems to want new bosses and creatures.

please do realistic requests

yes but, my personal choice would be priorities ! i would totally prefer the game to now temporarily stay in english and instead get new awesome monster and boss addtion maybe even with more hired humans. I wouldnt hire specifically a translator to a 2 man studio. If i was a business man i would hire either another programmer or artist. So i still vote for bosses vs languages. Sry but people got priorities. I dont say that this game will never get a spanish subtitle mod or something. But thats either fan mod support or will be in the far far future. Powerhoof studios got a hell ton of work to do and simply dont have time currently for translations. Sry :/

Ofc im speculating and im just a fan and not their spokesman. But wouldnt you think if they had ressources and a big team and stuff they wouldnt have translated the game already ? Like for christmas 2015 ? Why didnt it happen ?

crawl is no scientific bachelor degree. its a quite simple and straight forward arcade game. sry if someone really needs a manual for this type of game which got no story and no walls of text written then there is something wrong with those persons. sure they are maybe new to gaming or casuals. but trust me even casuals get the main goal of crawl pretty quickly ....

and if you still wanna sell the game to those people simply send them lets plays of spanish speaking people. in this day and age of 2016 calling for a paper manuel and a paper box is an antique request ...

or what about you translate the game into spanish if you love this game ? how about getting into fan support and help powerhoof ? look at all the indie games which got mod workshop support. many many games nowadays got fan made translations, which maybe are not perfect, but still get the job done :3

Hey guys :) we will be looking into localizing at some point, but probably not until we're ready to come out of early access.

Localizing can be a quite achievable task, but trying to keep multiple language versions up-to-date while we're still changing the game is a bit too much for us.

We'll keep you posted closer to coming out of early access, when we have a chance to research what languages are highest priority and will make the biggest difference for players :)

Fantastic, thank you very much for considering it and mind know what hard work. The game is based on a great idea and his developing is pure pixel art equipped with a good gameplay.

Nice to meet you, my congratulations and greetings to the team.

when will you quit the early project ?

we need translation :) not everybody speak english, and it's not funny to translate everything ingame, when we are playing with friends in the same time...

Remember the times when arcade games didnt have any text at all ? You know just a cabinet 1 joystick and 2 buttons? Yeah back then kids played games and they didnt need manuals.
:steamfacepalm:

Again if the spanish community is so desperate about translation why dont you start a fan made spanish language pack mod ? And if thats impossible because the english is too hard, maybe a friend might help ya ?

Hasta luego :p
