We limited it to one player on the keyboard because most keyboards only let you press a few keys at once, and we found with multiple people playing you'd be pressing attack and nothing would happen which is very frustrating :)
Im gonna try out this now,
Cheers!
For hammer watch, one player uses wasd and r t y u i and o while another player uses arrows keys and the number pad.
It took some testing and feeling out but we found the keys we chose did not conflict.
Though for crawl, it is best all players have controllers. Some traps in the game cannot be fully utalized with keyboard directional controls.
But still, giving people who cant afford to buy 4 gamepads the option to use the keyabord is just nive to have.
We use keyboards as controllers (3 at one PC) so we don't have the few buttons at once limitation, we just need to make shure bindings don't collide.
It would be really helpfull if the game recognised the keyboards from eachother, the only game I've played that supported multiple individual keyboards and mice was Trine2, and it was gold.
Edit: Which totally doesn't work with this game. Weak.
Games like Legend of Dungeon, Nidhogg and Samurai Gunn all have separate key config screens that let you map any keys to any movements in the games. I honestly have never seen a complaint in any of their forums from people having trouble with more than one person per keyboard. I know keyboards used to have max input limitations, but I'm pretty sure no modern keyboards have that problem.
Did you ever add this? I just heard about this game and would like to play it on my arcade cabinet, which had 4 joysticks, all which emulate a keyboard (Ultimarc Ultimate IO board).

The controller though is mapped to the keys on a single keyboard. Anyway you guys can make this happen?
