Online 4 player Multiplayer using Parsec Streaming
Anyone with a high upload speed wanna try some online using Parsec?
Apparently it works very well with almost no latency if you have around 15mbps upload speed and host the game. I only get 5mbp so I can't host it myself.

If you don't know what Parsec is, it's a free software to allow for any local co-op game to become online.
This video explains it https://youtu.be/6VBJf0C_JjE

Did you guys ever test this out? Get any results?

i tried parsec, was unplayable.

Parsec sucks in order to host you gotta be running Windows 8.1, 10, Server 2012, or Server 2016 to host. Parsec cannot support Windows 7 as a host.

Well, it's not that unreasonable to expect that the user is on the latest Windows version. Otherwise they'd have to code the same thing twice, wouldn't they?

Haven't tried it out yet as lockwood was busy over the holiday season.

Im still very eager to try as i can imagine playing this game online with voice chat would be a blast.
Just gotta find someone with a 15-20mb upload speed which seems pretty rare.

Works perfect. MUCH MORE better than Nvidia gamestream or Moonlight and 4 player сompatible

Played this last night myself hosting (222mbps down, 23mbps up) with my girlfriend in the same room but on different PC's in the UK, one player in Ohio, and one in California. The Americans said there was a bit of delay on their end but it was still ultimately playable for them.

Got about 6 hours of Crawl through Parsec. 1000 mbps down & up. I'm US-W and the people who are connecting to me are from Europe. It's been fantastic so far - both the game, and the app.

I'll update my Parsec-Experience: Tried it out and it worked brilliant. Constant FPS, no lag.
Echorion May 21, 2018 @ 5:04pm
I used Parsec to play with several people. Only one person was getting lag that actually made the game unplayable, for everyone else we had no problems at all, or a very minor lag that was easily ignored.
Assuming everyone in involved has a proper net connection, ie fibre op and such. I mean if you try and do anything like this over DSL of course it isn't going to work.

I’ve had good luck playing with two players on around 5 up. Not sure it’ll handle 4 players at that speed, though.
