If the answer is yes, you can still remap every button in the options menu...
Nothing changed about the control scheme with the not-anymore-early-access release.
...What are you talking about?
are you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kidding me? they completely changed the control scheme! and yes, you can remap the controls to any key... on the keyboard. there is no apparent way to change it back to how it was originally, seeing as it used to be controlled entirely with the mouse!
Just select your options with the mouse.
There were always the option to play with the keyboard or the mouse...
Nothing actually changed. I just checked it, to be sure.
As always.
More specifically, in the menu where you chose what god to pray, the number of AI, etc..., you just click with your mouse to join the lobby and play with it.
It's not a thing where you have to chose between the keyboard and the mouse.
You can actually play with both.
Useful when you have a friend but no controller for him.
not anymore, apparently, cause my mouse isn't doing jack. clearly, one of us has something wrong with our copy of crawl.
I did test what I said to be sure.
And it worked.
What you say is the cursor never appear or clicking doesn't do anything?
... I don't know what to say, then. Try removing your mouse from your computer, and put it in again?
The one thing that plays weird with controls is the tutorial- as it happens before a player has a chance to calibrate controls, we rely on some defaults, but after the tutorial you should be able to set controls however you want as before- cabinet mode is just for binding multiple players to the keyboard (as used in home made arcade cabinets) but should be left off to play in regular mouse mode
