Road Not Taken

Can the ranger actually have chidren?
The game teases you about it, but I didn't actually happen in my plays. Is it a no go, or have I been getting bad dice rolls for it? I married 1 person at times, I've married all of them at times. I married none of them hoping that the holy spirit would take care of it - all of it amounted to nothing. So whats the deal...

Sure - I don't mind. However the way its currently presented leaves the typical player with the idea there may be a secret rather than - "Fate deemed otherwise".... You might want to give em something more solid about it. If you intended the "It was the best possible life" to cover it - it doesn't work. In such a nice toned game it would only seem as polite thing to say in the end rather than information.

Wow, in that case it makes it seem extremely impolite and almost hypocritical of you guys to brag about your real life children so openly, then. There are plenty of lonely/infertile people in this world, and you being so pushy about "hey, check out our kids!", while at the same time saying "life is tough, deal with it" is really not a nice thing to do.

Fair enough, though I still cannot find any other way to interpret the addition of real life developer babies to the game as inappropriate bragging. I just can't help but think that someone on the team decided to use the game medium for their personal bragging purposes about their family situation, quite unfittingly, in my opinion.
All power to you, of course (and perhaps making a game about yourselves was the whole point, which wasn't that heavily advertised), but do note there are people out there who think that putting your personal life in a video game in such a straightforward way (even if it's a game about babies!) may break the immersion, make the final message sound more discordant and unconvincing, and just be the source of some annoyance and/or jealousy.
Big props for the prompt and seemingly sincere answer, though!

Kinda disappointed you can't have kids... but honestly the only thing that made me think that you could is on your gravestone it says "You had 0 children", which to me implies that you can change that, since everything else in your gravestone is a reflection on how you have played the game. The only reason I thought that maybe you couldn't is that there isn't an achievement for it, lol

You can spawn a ghost child in your house. Kind of like having a child?
