so, that's my fariy-tale ending. i only wish that my reality was like that.
Lone traveller for me, too. Why stay in a town where we have nothing to live for? Better to explore The Land Beyond and see what the unknown can bring :)
The king looked like he was an intelligent and thoughtful man. Cinders also seemed to be the "only" person that would make a great leader. I couldn't see another person in that position.
semi- SPOILERS
-------------------------
I was curious about what the fairy was talking about, since Cinder's mum and pops had history with "them," but I decided to pick choices I would choose irl... aka taking my own future into my hands vs leaving it up to "fate."
I didn't want to take over the household because I really liked the stepmum and stepsisters. I was hoping to see the eldest take over and end up being resourceful. But alas, I was quite disappointed that Cinders grew apart from the two stepsisters and them pretty much going into ruin on the outskirts of society.
Now to try out the fairy route/ not be the queen.
Eventually ended up reconciling with Gloria in Post
Became Queen in a loving Marriage w/ Prince
Chose Ghede for help.
Ghede left the town after fulfilling the promise to mother
Discovered Step-mother's forgery
As in the stories of old, Cinders' charms and wits helped her in getting the heart of the future King.
Cinders becomes a mild and gentle queen, known for her beauty, kind heart and love of peace. A pretty jewel on the Royal Crown, but not much more. While she is adored by her people, she's not strong or decisive enough to give her husband the support he needs to push forward with his reforms. With the Prince Basile unable to realize his plans, the situation in the Kingdom stagnates and eventually turns for worse.
While Cinders in the wife of the new King and they rule together, love never sprouts between them. Focused on her role, she lives a lonely life among the crowds. There's no space for personal happiness in the existence of a queen.
Cinders often feels lost in her new role. But whenever she's stumped, she secretly sneaks out of the Palace and comes to the Lake to seek the Fairy's advice. Rumors about the queen's mystical connections and sixth sense quickly spread throughout the Kingdom.
The court life fully absorbs Cinders and she loses contact with her old family. Lady Carmosa and her daughters never visit the Palace. From what the young queen heard, the situation in the household turns for worse after her stepmother's bitter defeat. They live their lives in seclusion, isolated from the rest of the noble society. Years later, Cinders and her sisters meet at Lady Carmosa's funeral. They don't exchange a single word.
So, basically, I sucked pretty hardcore
hehe, OK, I got the wise loving Queen outcome 2nd, but no advisors again. Sheesh, I am struggling to invite the nasty sisters into my court (is it even possible?)
I can't wait to explore all the possibilities! I might go back in time and look a little bit at the Fairy route next...
i have been playing it for ages and i still love it so much. i can just keep going back to it
I'm going to play this a few more times. Especially want to try and take back the house and kill the stepmother to see what the ending's like. Hehe
And marrying the prince just seemed too cruel for all that romance with Tobias and I also didn't picture that Cinders as THAT ambitious.
All greatness has a price, I suppose.
