All that said, I'm really looking forward to the f/f option in the Sophia sequel. :) I kind of wished Ghede had been a romantic option for Cinders.
Tobias is a little more realistic, and my second choice, even though he thinks Cinders is coming on to him when I haven't made her do that. He seems quite anxious to have a wife and settle down...as long as he's comfortable. Getting him to run away is a pain.
The Prince...maybe I don't like him because we see so little of him and most of that preaching about sweeping, hugely different changes he wants to implement.
As for the Prince, I don't find he's around long enough to really strike up a romance with. I mean, if being Queen is your playthrough goal then by all means go for it ! The decision to choose him didn't wind up coming from any particular affection, but from trying to be the most objective ruler possible.
I think it needed another option, maybe a female?
Tobias was alright. Loyal friend, smart, ambitious. But honestly no spark. A queenly woman like Cinders needs a strong man, not only a pawn :)
Prince Basile... we can't know much about him, and what we know does not interest me that much. Sweet, idealistic, revolutionary, yet bound by the crown and the traditions, which cause him to not be his own person. At least Perrault and Tobias had some freedom...
More time is required to form true bonds of love, and more options are allways nice. Can't say much else is really needed then that, the rest is up to the story.
Perrualt on the other end is my least fav ( well after the Fairy and Ghede he is ) He's just so wishy-washy. Not sure of what he wants in life or who he is as a person. But I've long outgrew the drak brooding types, so I might be a little biased.
PS. I say least favorite but I still liked them all well enough.
I completly agree, and it would be interesting to see how a romance between Cinders and Perrault would fold out, Ohohoho~
Tobias is also very charming, and seeing their conversations it seemed as if Tobias grew stronger feelings for his childhood friend.. even if not, he certainly cares deeply for Cinders.
The prince was intelligent and charming, but I suppose my taste just never went towards nobility as much xD
however, it was a close call, and there was one critical moment, where i agonised over the decision for ages. i saved the game at that point and went back to it after. that had me alone at the end. apt, but not very romantic.
i'm still playing out alternatives, though...
Tobias. Safe choice. We've known him our entire lives and he's our best friend. Friendship can easily become love.
Prince. We didn't really see much of him, so it's hard to comment. I don't really go for the Prince-type, though.
Probably I still will get it in a sale. Because I kinda like the idea.
