A Prince's Love

I've tried not seducing anyone else during the game and I did become a smart queen and yet STILL the Prince doesn't love Cinders! What am I doing wrong? Does she need to be evil or something to get noticed?

I believe its not seducing anyone but when you spend time with Perrault you can ask about the prince on your second meeting, and it was by choosing that option and not flirting/turning down attempts to be with the other guys i got one where he was in love with Cinders.

On my first playthrough, I didn't meet Perrault, had a connection with Sophia, was friendly with Tobias and refused the date with him.
Also I had high stats on smart_girl, and some good_girl.

try telling the prince you're not interested at the end to get no love, and ask perrault about himself rather than the prince in the tavern

Thank you everyone! I FINALLY got it. I did a machiavellan route (people should get what they deserve), friendly with stepsisters, found out about Carmosa selling stuff, advisor Ghede, and generally persued whatshisface Perrault but kept it friendly until he was going on about finding a lady and I was like "You'll meet her someday!" FINALLY the Prince loved me in the fairytale ending. Geez. You'd think it would be easier since it was the ending in the original fairytale haha! But seriously, thank you everyone for your suggetions and help
