Something I've been wondering.

I recently finished the game, but I've not once gotten an answer to something I've been wondering.

What is the purpose of those red and green fox statues here and there? The ones that occasionally wear glasses. I figured they might be used for something later on in the game, but maybe they're just cosmetic?

For some reason, them being there gives me a DK64 vibe. Dunno why.

I played each and every level with the developer's commentary, and still haven't found out what they are. :<

Maybe you're talking about a video commentary?

They are the 2 developers. In each level you either see a Green or a Red statue. It is who designed that level!

I think it's the audio log behind the temple, in the first level.
