Please make the choices easier
I have all the achievements in the previous game, but every time I think about replaying it, I give up because the choices are so obscure.

To get the outcome you want, you need to follow a guide to know when to spend your will and which attributes to level up. I hope this doesn’t happen in this game

You say that is if you weren't the target audience of telltale games. By what is possible to see in your profile you only play the most casual, mainstream ♥♥♥♥ possible. Don't try to pose as some kind of hardcore adventure games fan

I would prefer hard choices with profound consequences.

It's not about "hard" choices, it's about the fact that you cannot choose the option you want because you lack 1 attribute point, and you have to go back and figure out how to get it.

It's called looking ahead.

At the start of a chapter in the first game you can see what is needed to make a potential choice in the destiny page of the book. You can build up your stats (or job direction), build up willpower, and in order to get what you want you will need to make sacrifices to get there.

While we're on this train of thought, what if the game fixed this issue with an alternative system?

Say you reach the threshold but you're off by 1-2 points, maybe it can be made up for with willpower, say 5 points per missing point? This is a risky move and not all paths can afford you burning willpower so easily but still.
i think all is good if players retain the ability to restart from any chapter.

when i was playing playing sir brante's story, when i reached a point i do not like, or if the option is greyed out, i look at the numbers, see what went wrong, then i just restart from the chapter.
I mean, In real life you also not sure which choice will lead you where, you can ASSUME, but you cant be sure, never ever.
