Why does Scarlet Witch have old Symmetra beam?

On what planet would this be a good idea? It was removed from Overwatch for good reason. Because it's actually ridiculous to have a high damage beam that you don't need to aim. This ♥♥♥♥♥ is like giving Overwatch 1 Symmetra wings.

Then you dont remember old symmetra beam. This is moira's beam. Symmetra's beam ramped up in damage and killed a squishy in a second at full charge.

It doesn't need to ramp up because it already does ludicrous damage for a weapon you don't need to aim. And again, she can fly with an ability that has multiple charges. Moira's weapon is fine because it does crap damage. Moira damage is only a problem in bronze-gold.

It's just a positioning check. Moira has it, but she can combine two abilities, Witch isn't nearly as bad as a good Moira-- Witch has two phase abilities but she's SUPER slow, vs Moira's escape is pretty fast, unless your a dive hero.

As long as you don't miss a dash, and you've marked her, DPS like panther shred her in about two strikes.

you're absolutely trolling this is damn near moira's exact beam. scarlet's entire reason for her secondary fire is to make her beam faster to kill with.

Scarlet Witch may have a good ultimate but it currently has 2 disadvantages while using it: 1) It take s along time to ramp up and fire, which leaves her vulnerable to heavy fire as well as giving time for enemies to hide. 2) While her ult is charging she becomes super slow, which again puts her at a disadvantage when she drops into a group to use her ult. This means she can be taken out before her ult goes off if the opposing team works together to shoot her down. But if you are a good SW player and know how to use the fly mechanic and her ult in unison, she can be a BEAST. But isn't that true for all the heroes if they are played right?
