External app keybinds don't work in game and the launcher

I have a couple keybinds that I use while playing games, for example muting myself on Discord with right-shift + right-ctrl. But for some reason Marvel Rivals and it's launcher block external app keybinds while the game or launcher are focused, but when a different app is focused (like Discord), the binds work perfectly fine. Can someone confirm that this is not just happening to me?

Having the same problem. I use discord mute toggle in mouse3 and nothing.

Here's something you can try that worked for me. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Marvel Rivals and right click on MarvelRivals_Launcher.exe. Click on read-only at the bottom of the General tab.

No it didn't. once I was on the main menu it stopped working. This is really annoying as I need some keybinds for interacting with my stream while playing/muting on discord.

Close Discord in the taskmanager and start it with "start as an admin"! It works now.
