DirectX 12 Issue

I'm running into an error when launching.

I get the message "DirectX 12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument." even though my device does support dx12.

I meet all the requirements, I've updated Windows, Verified Files, and updated my drivers. Honestly lost at this point as I've never had this issue with other games.

Really hope this is fixed or someone finds a solution, I checked everything else and my computer should be able to run the game it's just this one issue

DIRECTX 12 ERROR POSSIBLE FIX? someone let me know if this works for them.
before clicking "Play" on steam screen, click on the gear to the right
click on "properties"
under "General" within "Launch options" enter "-force-d3d12"
try running the game again
if that doesn't work, try "-dx12" or "-force-dx12"

OR
do we need to somehow force disable it?

The launcher won't even pop up if you alter the launch options

DX12 is not just a single thing to install, you need a bunch of other requirements, I've posted this before in other UE5 games:

There are multiple things needed for full DX12 Ultimate feature set (not just DirectX 12).

Windows system info needs to be one of the following for Win10 (win11 is fine)

If your OS Version is 1909, 2004 or 20H2, you also want to check your Revision Number.

For Windows 10 Version 1909, the revision number should exceed or be equal to .1350
For Windows 10 Version 2004 and 20H2, the revision number should exceed or be equal to .789

Also, your GPU needs to support Shader Model 6.6 and above. This mean minimum AMD RX4xx series or later, Nvidia 9xx series or later.

AMD driver 21.4.1 or later, Nvidia driver 466.11 or later.

It doesn't even open on mine. I'm updating to Windows 11 to see if it will work. My PC has new software settings, and this is the first game where this has happened. Sad times.
