when i download game it downlads 0 mb said its install when i hit play it tells me missing executable

We are aware of an issue similar to this. To remedy it you will want to delete your game file and re-download. This should allow you to play the game as intended.

i did and it redownload same issue
it downloads nothing but it say it installed when i go to folder its empty

Steam downloads 0 bytes / 0 bytes for Tome.

Error - "Failed to start game (missing executable)."

Description - Steam downloads: 0 bytes / 0 bytes. I try to run the game but nothing happens except the error above. I tried the other options for fixing the steam error, but steam doesn't download any game files. I turned off sandboxing, antivirus is not on steam incompatibility list. I even verified game cache on the empty download and deleted appcache and flushed steam dns. I don't know what else to try. I couldn't find any other people with this exact problem for Tome and steam, so I came here to try. I hope I'm not missing anything simple.

I have this same problem, which I posted in community support. I use Windows 7 and get this exact same problem.

BlitzenX and pb. Are either of you using an anti-virus? This may cause the TOME files to be deleted until you whitelist TOME.

Thank you for merging threads and clearing up the clutter. I honestly did not see the discussion in general forums, my bad. And yes, I am using antivirus, but the game is whitelisted and according to steam manuals, does not interfere with the download process. In another thread on the General Forum, it seems a lot of people have this issue and they concur that the antivirus is not part of the problem. One of the individuals even says they don't even have an antivirus installed and it still has this error.

Im having the "no executable" error on LInux Mint 17.1 Xfce 32bit up to date on all software. Like the other there is a 0kb download size.

Has there been a fix for this yet?
