Blank white screen?

Whenever I click "Hunt" from the main menu, I see a brief loading screen and then the entire screen turns white, and then nothing happens. Music plays for a bit and then vanishes. Anyone else run into this? I've tried numerous settings and resolutions to no avail.

Alright, I got into the trophy room and everything is glitchy and rainbow colored... strange...

Graphic drivers ?
Sound like something with you're video card if you have one.

Same problem here. White screen, and rainbow glitches all over the place in trophy room (which leads to game freezing after a few seconds) Using a Radeon R9 290X 4GB, and drivers are up to date.

I updated my drivers, to no avail. All my other games are functioning fine.

is it a laptop, and what kind of card do you have ?

Mine is a desktop. I listed the vid card above. White screen when I click hunt, but I can press spacebar and it goes into the game for a few seconds all rainbow glitchy then freezes up and I have to close with task manager. Have redownloaded, have updated drivers, and nothing has helped. Please post if anyone finds a fix to this.

Didn't the ps3 have ATI ?
I was thinking it has something to do with ATI, just a guess here.

Mine is a laptop with a AMD Radeon HD 8650G, barely 6 months old. I've got a good processor and 12 gigs of ram. should be able to handle this game no problem.

Tried the spacebar thing like geno_zid, and I got the same rainbow textures on everything and then it froze after ten seconds or so...

So its all AMD.
Now the ps3 has nvidia, not AMD like i thought.
I wonder if this has something to do with it, remember this game was initially made for that console, and then ported to pc.
Did you guys post this stuff on they're site ?

Okay, I don't know what did it... but it's working now! I went into the steam folder and I opened the "Carnivores-master.exe" file, which opened a window but didn't seem to do much and closed itself. After, I added that same file to my Catalyst Control Center under Gaming>3D Application settings, then switched any options that were set to "overide" to "use application settings."

Not sure what exactly fixed it, but it might be worth toying with for anyone else who has this problem!
