VR support added?
hello this game looks good :) devs looks like he is right on top of things. Like many other DK2 users i really only want to back developers that are serious about VR support.

I will buy this game as soon as this is confirmed to me.

Hello. You won't see VR support re-enabled for a while yet. I can't say for sure when I'll throw the switch but keep an eye out for the VR-enabled logo on the store page.

Way back in the day there was a closed alpha with DK1 support and while it wasn't terrible you couldn't really play with it. Controller support is helping a lot, and I'm about halway through a reworked interface, so that's going good. We also need is silky-smooth framerates so people don't get the barfs while playing. (Thank god there's no Oculus 4k out yet...)

Is there any chance that support will also be added for Track IR or EDTracker?

I currently own a Track IR and will get an Oculus once it goes retail, but I still don't see that happening anytime this year.

Right now I've got my hands full with bare-bones DK1/DK2 support. Later on when that's solid (and when I can afford to buy the hardware to test with) I'll think about supporting other goodies.

DK2 here. When I try to launch direct to rift it crashes and says it could not switch to requested monitor resolution and lists a bunch resolutions. When I launch the frontiers.exe it opens up a window, which I can use to load my profile then I can use shift Windows key right arrow to send the window to the rift. (If I set it to full screen it will just play on my monitor, never gets to the rift) Its semi playable but the mouse does not work and the joystick controls are all wacked out. Really need to fix this. Game looks great in the rift even with the window, but its unplayable like this. Using oculus runtime 5.0.1

Same(ish) problem as Peteo except I have a DK1 and haven't gotten a game to load due to mouse and keyboard input not registering as it should. Oculus runtime 0.5.0.1, updated firmware to v.0.18 as instructed. Was I supposed to do anything with the "Oculus SDK Source" 0.5.0.1 or "Oculus SDK for Windows" 0.5.0.1 files? I figured since I'm "Updating" to an older SDK that it would cause problems to install newer ones first. My Oculus "Updated" with SDK 0.3.2 as expected...

Able to get to game save list screen sometimes but the game appears to have disabled my mouse. Keyboard controls work VERY slowly and only "Enter" and "Esc". Pressing "Enter" will close the "Focus on: Trapping and Fishing" window... eventually... mostly. It takes about 5 seconds to close and then the trap and hook remain on the screen but the window it was in is gone. I can click what's directly under my mouse but it does not respond to movement input. Moving my head changes the background as it should but the cursor doesn't move. Tried arrow keys. Nothing seems to work. Hitting esc on this screen just causes my saved games window to disappear.

Following this project for some time - and really glad to read that Rift support has been added much sooner than expected. Some more positive feedback about working DK2 and I am in, promised :)
