Rough Walkthrough Guide / Places to visit

-> Can someone who beat the game already make a very rough list with the places to visit in an order that makes sense?

I only have time to play casually, and I find myself mostly running around searching for some new region that turned accessible. I would enjoy the game much more, if I could spend my limited time actually playing it.

Would very much appreciate any help!

I'm sure someone is working on it. I would do it myself, but I work 12 hour night shifts and have a family to take care of. I barely have time to simply play the game. I'm thinking of doing one once I finish the game, but it will be some time before that's completed, and I'd be willing to bet someone will beat me to the punch.

If you can hold out, I'm sure someone will post one before long.

Thanks for your feedback. I would really like to finish the game, but I'm in a similar situation like you. I dont have the time to search the entire world map for the next opening, so I just keep running in circles. I would not mind spoilers and the game is really worth a thorough guide.

I'll list what I remember, someone correct me if I've made a mistake.

a) go through the forest you start in
b) go through the temple on the other side of the forest
c) go through the cave northwest of the village and fight a boss and get an important item
d) go through the cave northeast of the village
e) go through the east canyon in the desert (the west canyon will be a shortcut later
f) go through the temple in the desert
g) go back to the grassy area. you can travel north through the rock wall to a new big area of the overworld including a second village, but....
h) I believe you can go across the bridge west of the village and go to the bottom of the waterfall. a little into it a character will tell you to collect stuff for him to pass. the items he needs are randomly dropped by certain enemies in the waterfall area when you kill them.
i) after getting the new ability from the waterfall, go to the second village and pay the carpenter to fix a bridge

The bridge he fixes is up the mountain slope, but I forget where you go after that, or if you need to go somewhere else first.

Picking up where mattmartin59 left off
j) Go up the mountain slope
k) Complete the mountain temple
l) Go to the forest west of the second village, (if you try to go through this area before beating the mountain temple, you will get stuck at a boss you can't beat)
m) Complete the ice temple
n) You can now travel to the final area using the ruined temple at the beach south of the first village.
