Ao oni 2, 3 and X

Do you think that the fact that the game is getting a release on Steam for the first time, that it might hint to the sequels being ported also ?

I would do anything to get these games on Steam

LiTMUS, the company that made the sequels have worked on this port also apparently, the characters' portrait style and the UI is also evidence of that.

Is this better than Ao Oni R? Is really confusing by how many versions of the game are there now.

I wouldn't really compare the two, this is a remaster/port of the original game. The final version that came out in 2011.

Ao oni R is a retelling of this game and is also a fan-game.

Both games are enjoyable in their own ways. The version presented here is the official game owned by the license holders.

They are also the ones who worked on the sequels Ao oni 2, 3 and X that are only playable on mobile in Japanese.

I hope that they add those other fan made games like Siro Oni or something, however i'm not sure if that's going to happen.
