Excellent! Thank you! One question: when will trees start respawning in Elf Quarter? Was really hoping this patch would fix the lack of respawn!

Please give us an option to disable the hearth lighting adjustment. The new setting has immediately made me want to stop playing until its fixed. Our current base is on the pier outside of the drain pumps. The entire drain pump cavern is brighter than daylight anytime I'm near my hearth. It destroys immersion to have that entire cavern lit up as far as the eye can see. The light amount would be fine, if it was limited to a certain distance, and not my complete range of view. My current brightness setting is still 1.8, but as the lighting works now, I won't want to play the game with a hearth, because it destroys the feeling of being in a cave. But, I'm not going to play a game without a hearth; I like the fear of being attacked.

I'd be happy to provide screenshots of how this is breaking immersion if you need to be able to see what I'm seeing.

Please devs, add an option or a station to salvage items old items/tools, they're just piling outside my base taking up memory/resources from my pc just froms existing.

Thanks, devs, but whoa - I turned brightness down to 1.4 from 2.2, the Eastern Bastion looked like the noonday sun after update. Moria is supposed to be dreadfully dark...

I base in the Eastern Bastion, and I completely agree. Immersion breaking.

2.4 is the default so you may wish to adjust this further to your liking.

My current settings for brightness are 2.4. But I meant the contrast not brightness. The dark places are too dark in comparison to light places which are too bright. But that I can solve by adjusting my monitor.
What I can't solve is that Lower Deeps near to my base seems to have no shadows at all. I can't pin any image to show you

100% agree

Why are we celebrating Durins day on October 3rd through 6th when Durins day isn't until October 19th? Or at least thats what was said in the hobbit, I'm aware its a floating date holiday but alot of the articles I've found online all suggest dates near the end of the month not begining?

I think the hyperlink to the patch notes is broken. Clicking the address takes me to "return/".

copy pasting the address works.

I have to constantly adjust the lighting every other minute. Dev's fix the game the lighting wasn't an issue. The Great Forge is better but now WAY too bright, the mines are WAY too dark. I'm getting lost because I can't see where I'm going even though I've been in the mines for hours and hours. What you all did wasn't cool... I had zero issues with the lighting, NONE! Now every 30 seconds I'm farting with the lighting trying to fix something that can't be fixed.

Bases are still falling apart when will this be addressed?
Symphatic Oct 3, 2024 @ 8:41pm
Bro y'all are never happy geez.

First off if you're saying that you have a good PC and the game is having seizures then you do not in fact have a good PC.

Second there was in-fact lighting issues in some areas, not all. Just because YOU had zero issues with lighting does not mean everyone else did.

Third the hyperlink in OP is broken by Steam, not by the Dev. Takes two seconds to copy and paste it into a browser.

Fourth Durin's Day was a yearly event noted by the Dwarves, "when the last moon of Autumn and the first sun of Winter appear in the sky together". That does not fall on the same exact day every year, it's a floating holiday. In 2024 the Autumn Equinox is Sep 22-23, the Winter Solstice is Dec 21. The last new moon before the winter solstice is Dec 12. TECHNICALLY in 2024 Durin's Day would be on December 12th. Stop being picky af about some random date.

Wait, it's October 19th? Damn...I must be the next Durin then. 42 years and I never knew it.
