End Game

Just completed the game and all the achievements. I found the game very enjoyable.

I have a few chests full of gold coins and gems and I am looking for some dwarfs. humans or elves to clean up Moria. I ain't cleaning up that Orc mess. And, the building mechanics drive me nuts.

One bit of advice for new players - collect, mine and keep just about everything you get. You might not need to mine ore right a way, but note down where the deposits are. Nothing worse than searching around for salt or gold or tin later in the game. Some of the seemingly useless items like metal pieces will become valuable for repairing equipment or crafting ironwood.

The only thing we never found a use for was bat poop, but maybe I just wasn't paying close enough attention.

We also never used any potions (whatever they're called) so we have an overflowing chest of those.

Bat droppings are used to make farm plots to grow your own crops
And the abakhs can be good for small little buffs but i tend to leave em home too
