How to transfer saves after the new update?
Hey guys, Im currently trying to send my save to my friend so he can host the server because their PC is better. Ive seen the previous guides mention the save files are .sav files but now the save files seem to be cloud based (steam_autocloud.vdf).

Does anyone know how to transfer a save file to a friend now since the update?

C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Moria\Saved\SaveGamesSteam

Files starting MC are characters. Files starting MW are worlds. The timestamp on the file is the only way I know to tell which word/character is which if you have more than one.
Backup files have the same filename, a sequence number, and then .bak. .000. is the latest save, older saves have higher numbers.

I don't know (and I'm not a dev), but I suspect you can just send the file starting MW, ending .sav. and with the right date/time stamp.
But I'd be sure to keep a copy in case that doesn't work.

Thanks but did you actually read my post? There are no save files for worlds or characters, just a cloud save file as I mentioned, this must be new with the update or im missing something
A copy of my cloud save files are stored there.
Try turning off cloud save?

Did you turn off cloud saves? If you save in the cloud there may be no local saves but that's your choice. If you turn off cloud saves the save files are there, at least for me they always have been and still are (but I never use steam cloud saves).
