Files starting MC are characters. Files starting MW are worlds. The timestamp on the file is the only way I know to tell which word/character is which if you have more than one.
Backup files have the same filename, a sequence number, and then .bak. .000. is the latest save, older saves have higher numbers.
I don't know (and I'm not a dev), but I suspect you can just send the file starting MW, ending .sav. and with the right date/time stamp.
But I'd be sure to keep a copy in case that doesn't work.
Thanks but did you actually read my post? There are no save files for worlds or characters, just a cloud save file as I mentioned, this must be new with the update or im missing something
Try turning off cloud save?
Did you turn off cloud saves? If you save in the cloud there may be no local saves but that's your choice. If you turn off cloud saves the save files are there, at least for me they always have been and still are (but I never use steam cloud saves).
That would make a lot of sense, cheers for the info ill have to have a look into that!
