How do treasure piles and hero statue buffs work? more = better?...
Like you can create bigger stashes of treasure, does that equate to a better buff? same with the hero statues, does creating more of them in your base do anything?

Just curious, they seem to last for a pretty small time, yet a significant one for something like a boss fight etc

I find that most of the buffs from nearly every source run out very, very fast so I just don't bother with them most of the time. The only one that lasts a reasonable amount of time seems to be the ore frenzy buff. Except for single use consumables (the small carvings or whatever they are) I would prefer buffs that last a bit longer, so are actually useful and more meaningful, but that don't have an extremely strong effect.

buffs are so short so almost all of em are useless u buff u teleporet u run 5 minutes and most buffs are gone ,kinda stupid especially if u can renew em only in camp.

I feel like they're only marginally useful for base defence but I'm not going to run to the memorial or treasure pile and let the enemy destroy things just so I can get a small buff...

I like the game but I feel like they dropped the ball on so many of the game's systems including this one.

what's wrong with carrying 5 hero tokens and enough coins, dropping a quick campfire build for buffs, dismantle, move on?

To me that's a complete waste of time, good chance the buff will wear off before I do anything truly useful and the time I wasted setting up and then tearing down is time I could have been doing something else.

Sad and true

You only have so much inventory space. Campfire materials, buff materials and all that would take up between like 4-10 inventory slots depending on just what you bring. Not worth it.

You have a main camp and portable camp with you (or maybe two), set up in new areas as progress i had around 6 camps in all. finished game. It's worth it.
