A related question from other perspective, how good is the co-op play?
It is tough to make a game good for both kinds of play.
The hard part is, that if you play solo... It's a game without live in it. I mean there's only You (lonley dwarf) and the whole bunch of enemies.
No other NPC that would make you feel like there is a point of rebuilding anything.
I would say that it's more about explore than rebuild.
There may be elf-dwarf sexual relations, I have no experience or online view of either myself...
What i'm finding difficult is A) knowing how scarce some resources are in early game (not sure what to hoard so i hoard everything), B) not knowing the overall strategy (am i supposed to build mini bases near important things like the special forges and brewery things? Am I supposed to use fast travel for up/down, and just hoof it around each map layer? kind of ties into not knowing how scarce materials are for fast travel points).
So, definitely do-able solo, but i'm sure co-op is a lot more efficient and rewarding.
I do not own it yet, if not obvious...
