Cure Tiredness?
Is there a way to cure the Tiredness status effect if it's too soon to sleep? I've tried various foods, but none seem to work. Have I overlooked something?

Lembas bread

OMG. I think I must have tried everything but that. Elbereth's Blessing exists in such small quantities in my seed (only 4 spawn in a single location that I've found) that I've been using salted meat and dried fruit for health restore. I totally forgot about Lembas, and I certainly never used it for energy even when I was conveniently located to the Elven Quarter (I'm in Dwarrodelf now). Thanks!

I'm at the end of game and a ton of food types are unlocked. 😆 It would have been nice if higher tier beds made a difference in sleep, like not waking up with 1/2 your hunger bar gone.

They give you 'well rested' as a buff. I actually found a 'Mansion Bed' in one of the outposts that I could use once I repaired the hearth there. But I haven't gotten the recipe to build one myself.

This is likely on purpose. Lembas is a very powerful item since it completely fills energy, hunger and health. Being able to make it at the drop of a hat in any quantity you want would make it OP.

Certain of the more complex food recipes also restore energy. From the grill onwards, to my knowledge.

You unlock it by building the Grand Hearth.

Thanks! I haven't done that yet because it's HUGE and I was going to have to reorganize my base... I set up the main base in the Elven Quarter, since the only thing that spawns there are wolves and cave bears and those other things that aren't aggressive until you get too close.

I have the mansion bed unlocked and I use it.

Durin's Forge is a great spot to build the Grand Hearth and a mega base.

Drinking an "Evening Ale" restores some of your tiredness when consumed. It also counts towards getting a random buff in the morning if you sleep with the drinking buff still going. I find it well worth having that always available.

There's always only the single Spawnpoint for the Elbereths Blessings, that's by design.
One other way to cure tiredness is to Sing the Song of Durin at a Statue or a Lamp.
Also there is no such thing as "too early to sleep". Just sleep whenever, it'll just advance the day by one quarter or so.
