Dwarves didn't evolve. They're magical creatures that were created by Aule and given souls by Iluvatar out of pity in a world that existed for about 6000 to 10,000 years which is a drop in the bucket timewise for evolution. If you're going to whine about something have your information correct about it.

Illuvatar also created elves and men so by your metric those too are magical creatures that didnt evolve.
Yes middle earth by the end of the third age was around 11-12 thousand years old so the different species couldnt have evolved in traditional sense from another species but that doesnt mean they couldnt have evolved slightly to their environment, humans on Earth certainly evolved a bit to the cold during the last ice age for example and it didnt take that long.
Should also point out that when elves and dwarves were 'awakened' the only light in middle earth was the light of valinor (the light of the trees) which was a soft and dim light. Not an environment with a lot of UV that requires melanin to filter, in such an environment high melanin would reduce vitamin D production in the body and be a distinct disadvantage to survival.
Also. Before the drowning of Numenor the world of middle earth was flat, ie almost no variance in UV from sunlight due to latitude and thus there would be no need for a variation in melanin levels for the races on middle earth.

I only saw this now and feel compelled to reply.

Yes, humans and elves were magical creatures in the same vein. Elves lived with the Valar for goodness sake. As far as we're concerned evolution is irrelevant in Middle Earth. It's meant to be explained by mystical means.

Then you're arguing that the different races could have evolved in a short time span, which is untrue in the larger sense but sure, pigmentation can change under certain circumstances that quickly. So why not evolve to black dwarves? You and I have no idea what radiation the ME sun provided, since it was also a magical creation of Aule and quite literally guided across the sky by demigods.

"Evolution" in ME skipped billions of years. Hominids in ME never had fur, came equipped with knowledge from the start.

And finally, if you want to go with real world evolutionary equivalents, then everyone should have started with dark skin and only changed rapidly in extremis. Or by magic.

The whole complaint is just pointless. The same people complaining about this never seem to care that elves always have pointed ears.

for the fact : Tolkien describe Ainur as entities that can manifest by the appearance/gender they want to and change at any moment. And some dumbass keep telling Tolkien was a racist/transphobic :steamfacepalm:

So lets the dwarves how they supposed to be, N O R M A L and white.

Funny to see the real clowns slap on their "duper's delight mask" and /paste their generic projection insults as they move goalposts because someone dared to point out obvious stuff. We get that some of you believe the "agenda" to be deities and you must defend it and deny it's work no matter what but it's kind of tiresome.

Weird, when I was reading the books, I couldn't see any black dwarves then. No matter how hard I stared at the written words, I couldn't see what the dwarves looked like. Only what the author described in words. Weird. Just words. There could have been orange, black, brown, and pink dwarves for all we know.

Lazy clown farm.

We should be able to send in negative badges, that remove clown farms badges. Sort of downvote the clowns.
Realistically, they wouldn't be black because they're underground. Anyways idgaf about what color they are because it's wholly irrelevant.

As only 1/3 of Dwarves are women, I suppose there is a high probability that there are gay dwarves. And power unto them.
not a single case of homosexuality exist in tolkiens world.

tolkien would be horrified and disgusted by ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and call it a insult to the natural order of the world, also a spirit aka literally a force of nature personified without a body, does not translate into mentally ill freaks and pedos
wierdly enough women in tolkien world have clearly defined role in ME so do Men, Galadriel being the potential odd exception.

variaty exist already enough in tolkiens world, there are plenty of other fantasy world where such thing could exist not in ME

Its a world created by a tradtional white christian man bulding a world to express his love for language, to express his christian believes and create a british mythlogy alike to the Nibelungen Saga in germany.

your modern ♥♥♥♥ doesnt fit in
I’ve never seen a black dwarf, perhaps because the concept originates from Norse mythology. However, African folklore also features creatures similar to dwarves, such as the Abatwa, Tokoloshe, or Egbere.

by all means let blacks dwarfs exist, outside of tolkien. people could make their own fantasy world with blacks elfes and black dwarfs and succesful low crime black societies, but not in tolkien works

Pretty obvious you have no idea about Tolkien's personal life or his take on the world. But not a surprise, with the racism and homophobia you're spewing in these posts.

Black Dwarf here. I love your white tears.
And I'm TRULY loving it while I'm dwelling in a country with Zero schoolshootings, munching on my 2 Euro eggs.
How are the prices over there doing? OH, sorry, YOU'RE concerned with the ethnicity of Dwarves...
