then don'T install it. I on the other hand will install it, and grab any free game they might offer. You have their products either way (unreal engine in games and EasyAntiCheat) so yeah... they already got your data if they want it. At least that's how i see it, and you're fine to disagree, if you feel like it.

There is no "cost". You are being overly dramatic. The constant free games is one good thing about Epic over Steam. I have over 100 games on Epic that were all free. Taking a minute to download the app was well worth it as it saved me thousands of dollars.

There is no "cost". You are being overly dramatic. The constant free games is one good thing about Epic over Steam. I have over 100 games on Epic that were all free. Taking a minute to download the app was well worth it as it saved me thousands of dollars.

There's plenty of cost. If you offer me a free game that requires me to get it through Origin, I probably will pass on that too. I don't want to have three, four, six launchers that all require me to manage accounts and passwords and all that crap just to play games. I want it all in one convenient place. I also just don't really like the company, similar to how I don't like EA. I choose not to interact with them because I don't want to support them. You could offer me the entirety of EA's library of games for free and I'd turn it down just because its EA.

I can accept that they might own EAC and Unreal or whatever, but I don't want anything to do with what I can avoid, and that is their launcher.

Your loss then. Lots of banger games have been given away free on Epic. I prefer GOG and Steam but I'm no fool and will gladly take any free games I can.
