Scales: Please Help

I have been down into 2 dark mines, killed every shadow orc I could find, and played for 50 hours. I had 5 scales, then accidentally used 2 to make a brew. I literally just need 3.

I am desperate to make the final weapon and just beat the game. Can anyone help? ;w;

Goto the Redlode area and kill the drakes/wyverns they drop scales.

I haven't found a single scale or Drake in sandbox. Do they spawn in the campaign map?

They certainly do, there's several types. Mostly basic drakes and fell beasts, both drop 1-2 scales each.

Once you get past star metal you should find more and more. Esp around the Deep Dark.
