questions about the game

Im thinking of buying it on the PlayStation, but there are a few things id like to know first.

Does it have a story campaign or is it all about pointless survival like Minecraft or something?

Can i play it alone from start to finish or will i depend on multiplayer?

What is it like? I mean can someone tell me a bit about the game itself and its gameplay loop and stuff?

I apreciate anyone helping out with those questions thank you.

I have finished the game 6 times and completed all achievements by myself. It is totally able to be done solo. It has a campaign and story thst you follow with quest. Basically you start without much. Start making weapons and armor and building bases. You get fast travel eventually and the further down in the depths you go the harder it gets. Lots of quest and lots to do and collect. The bosses can be challenging on solo. But if youblearn the trick. Which is considerate on the boss. Once you kill him everyone else runs. So use your potions and buffs and aim for him. Keep your weapons upgraded and farm you stuff to make better meals. If I can answer anything else just ask.

good choice - i was about to write the same as phoenix
finished the game once in storymode (with all achivements) and currently plundering a sandbox game to the max
to get my own little storage world with all the goodies and to complete my collection of "cosmetics"
