Where is the entrance to the mine located when it comes to sandbox?

i still cant find the mine or bronze yet i can get up to where the orks are armoured. new player need help

maps are randomly generated especially sandbox maps are very random

Bronze isn't mined, per se. You mine tin and copper and then you make the bronze using those two ores.

You must explore the Elven cave completely.

I just found "The Old Iron Mines" on the First Deep. They contain no Iron but copper and I think Tin, too. So you need to find a Stairs down (I think it's #2, #3 always seems to go up).
