Why does a single chest store more than a pallet?
Especially for say stone/granite/adamant.
Pallet = 525
Ornate chest 3600

For ore
Pallet 825
Ornate Chest = 1080

And the chest is Way smaller.

Pallets should store a few thousand.

Well, a pallet isn't optimal, but maybe it doesn't have to be. You're surely way more organized than I am. I like having these great big heaps of stuff so I know where to put things.

Otherwise I get this giant row of chests and I'm just going through them in sequence, one after the next. So your storage may be more compact, and I could just name up all my chests, but... man, I like these heaps and I don't always care for optimal anyway.

I like the look of pallets too and they are more easily identifieable.. which is why I think they should store way more than chest.

does it really matter, to be nitpicky like that, in this game?

If they are still updating the game I'd love them to double pallet size.... it's a preference. You don't need to post your opinion here either....
pallet is virtually free and pallet offers visibility
a chest costs and is smaller and doesn't show what you have in it immediately so imo it warrants being able to hold more

The don't cost virtually anything.... (keep in mind a wooden chest stores more stone than a pallet ) and you can name them.

but I guess they are chests of holding. Again, just prefer the idea and look of pallets. Hell give me upgraded pallet that costs the same as a ornate chest and holds as much and I'd build that.

still a wooden chest has a cost a pallet only costs itself
I have probably around 40 pallets in my main base because I prefer them especially the fast grab/store option so gameplay wise I agree with them having lower storage then chests

if they make upgraded pallets costly I could see it reasonably or just remove the ability to store pallet items in chests, which should have been the case originally
