How to fix the extreme washed out hearth lighting update
So as we all know lighting pure and simply kinda got "removed" everything just became one shade of light near a hearth and honestly the entire game is too bright for being underground. This will make dark places proper damn dark and mean that building lights inside your house will actually work as intended like it used to.

This is how the game is meant to be played. Casuals need not revert darkness is an extra difficulty layer to overcome.

Paste this at the bottom of your engine.ini located in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Moria\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

[SystemSettings]
r.SkyLightingQuality=0

Screenshots of the tweak & also my turing SLI setup kicking my wife's strix 3090's ass been awhile since i played a game that had perfect 2x scaling in UE4.

Bro you are such a life-saver. I hated the lighting ""update"" and how incredibly bright things became.

Its all back to normal, just the way I like it.

Looks really good! It's dark, but come on, Moria is called "The Long Dark", not Sunshine Valley.

Kozary: Hero of "The Long Dark"

You deserve a metal. Some typea Dwarven metal. :)
But dwarves can see in the dark, so shouldn't they be able to see fine in the dark and not need torches and such in Moria?

No, dwarfs see better in dimly lit areas than humans do, but they cannot see in total darkness. This is why Moria at the height of its glory was no dark place at all, it was lit all over by shining lamps of crystal.

That would be D&D where every race has "Darkvision" besides Humans
