Regarding Point #2
Tweaking Graphic Settings to Frame Rate Limit Off and fooling around with NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR has improved the issue for me. Its still there but not as bad as prior. Game still needs to load but I don't see the invisible stone studded wall at the edges of the rooms as much as I used to and content loads faster than just using default settings like prior.
2. That heavily depends on if you're playing on SSD or HDD and also is kinda subjective, because i, for one, see no problem in waiting a minute or two in loading screen, but i'm also used to 15-20 min loading times in Total War Warhammer, which is on my HDD.
P.S. Sorry if you meant "The Brown Wall of Loading", as i call it. If that's the case, then yes, it look kinda stupid when you see it in single player, but i can understand it's existance in multiplayer because the game probably loads this area on host's pc and then sends the data to client, which is, at this point, a prehistorical way of rendering areas in multiplayer games.
3. I mean they REALLY should do that. Maybe add Shift+R/T to make different angles and keep regular one to do the usual 90 degrees.
4. That's true, but i assume that devs' intended place for bases is in any of the Great Forges of your choice. But i Also saw clips of people completely tranforming the tutorial base location with almost the entirety of it's hallway and using the space above the river. Also a good base location is the Upper City and the last 2 rooms, where you fight the last boss.
- It might be the seed I played on my campaign but I felt like something was off with the progression/biome layout. I always felt I needed better weapons/armor or resources, and by the time I cleared an area or progressed that is when I finally found/crafted it, but then I was already in the next zone.
- The placement/cursor when building could need some tweaking when you want to place for ex a floor or platform next to or slightly "glitched into" a pillar or rock or wall or whatever. It goes up and down but not where you want it.
- The buffs don't stay long enough imo. Especially the builder buff. I barely have time to run/chose what to place, position placement and then build, destroy, repeat before it is gone. Sometimes I don't even get a single "free" build and then I have to wait to study again. I get why its like this though, it should not be too OP but what is the point of the buff/mechanic if you cant get any free builds. I would rather have the buff longer or higher chance for free builds and then longer time before I can study again - compared to what it is now.
- Many torches or wall displays, once placed on a wall, cant be deconstructed because they seem to be "hidden" behind the wall, despite it not being inside the wall. It is quite hard to place something like that perfectly since it doesnt "stick" to the walls.
- Areas to build are limited just like OP mentions above. And the floor/tiling/glitching issue is also annoying.
