Dwarrowdelf - Can't figure out where to go next

I seem to be stuck in Dwarrowdelf. I have the quests to find Balin's Outpost and Durin's Forge, which I assume are the 2 orange diamonds on the map. The problem is that I can't figure out how to reach that area. I've been back and forth and up and down across the whole region multiple times, but I can't find any hallways/passages I may have missed. Normally, if there are viable passages I haven't taken yet, they are visible on the map. What am I missing here?

To get to the western area I had to drop down, then enter the new area.

The tile south of the bridge looks like it leads somewhere to the west? That's a corner piece, not a deadend, as it should look if it would only connect to the Stronghold. Sewers, maybe?

Thanks for the replies. I finally figured it out. I had to make my way to the orange "door" shown on my map. I had been in that area MANY times before, except I wasn't at the correct altitude.

Yea sadly the game doesnt do a great job of displaying altitudes. Ive had issues because of overlapping generation making it confusing as well
