lower deeps figure chest

Is there a secret to finding the little chests you put the figures in? I need 1 more, in the lower deeps, and I've been looking for HOURS.. going room to room, going around outside, up and down.. I have no idea where the spawn is.. I know it's RNG, but is there any like signs you're going in the right direction? It's getting extremely infuriating that I can't find this stupid chest thing.. I have about 34 of the figures on me.. and I'm at a loss..

lower deeps...hm... that's the purple mushroom area..... nah man.... should be easy to spot down there with all the lights.... biggest problem are those caved in rooms with rocks and stuff where even statues get buried beneath them.... sandbox is even sowing the spots on map but campaign not.

Edit: have made it a (bad) habbit to leave a map marker when I run into the figure chests if done or not and how many figs req.

I usually leave a map marker too but I haven’t put one here, so I don’t think I’ve even seen it yet. It can’t spawn in a chasm can it? I’m all the way up to making mithril armor and dragon weapon, so I’d like to get back out of mushroom-ville and keep progressing my game lol

This saddens me lol.. yours is just easy peasy to see and find in that world lol.. I wonder if it's bugged in mine? I haven't come across any (that I know of) and everything seems to be working fine otherwise so I'm assume it's not. but Never know I guess lol

My lower mines section is missing statues. I believe these shrines replace possible statue spawn locations so even though its unlikely I think its possible these shrines could even be missing in very rare cases.
My lower deeps shrine was inside one of the fallen dwarf tombs though, its possible shadow can spawn around it so could be worth checking each corner.
I'd recommend just ignoring it for now and progressing. Maybe go back through on a sandbox world to regather supplies and any possible statues/shrines missed

My chest spawned in one of the hidden rooms inside the lower deeps temple, so I recommend going through there making sure you open every door and wall. It was amazing how many hidden paths there were in that place.

well, I reached the end of the game and beat the dragon and everything.. I just had to find a chasm with mithril to mine to make the spear and get there.. happened to find her door by complete accident lol.. So now I have 26/27 achievements.. because I now must spend my life hunting this chest down lol

Finally found it after a few more hours of searching.. and I swear I probably ran by the stupid thing 205 times.. but I found it, crafted the last armor, and now I'm 100% on the game = D

Congrats! Now its my turn to run around the deeps for hours on end trying to find the damn ranger camp lol. Glad you finally found the chest though!
