Valheim. Things do despawn there, but they take a looooong time for that. And they only added a 'trashbin', which is mid- to lategame, a few updates ago.
Also, when placing walls, you can't remove or move them to re-position them!
Either in your pocket, for the starter one, or at the workbench. You'll need hide for that one, though. So you'll need to enter the elven quarter. Same for getting the materials for the workbench.
X is the standard hotkey for the deconstruction tool. Only works on player-placed building pieces, though. For everything else, there's your pickaxe.
