How to remove\delete unnided items like old backpacks or old weapons etc.?

If its really an issue, you can load into a "Trash World" and dump everything there.

Throw them into pits or lakes.

This might be the first "survival" game where I can't scrap items. Or, at a minimum, destroy them.

Valheim. Things do despawn there, but they take a looooong time for that. And they only added a 'trashbin', which is mid- to lategame, a few updates ago.

craft a backpack, stuff it in there and throw it off a cliff

how do you craft a backpack? The problem I have is trying to place those quick platforms when the always end up far from where you try to place them, or the other problem, too close to other platforms so you can't use any of them!!!!
Also, when placing walls, you can't remove or move them to re-position them!

"how do you craft a backpack" .... like... start with campaign, go literarely 10 meters, GET THE QUEST TO CRAFT ONE. the basic one is clothes you find everywhere in your handcrafting.. and it was a mistake to craft a second one given dieing? Only once, and that was becuase i tried blocking the first boss with my sword after my shield got broken XD

Not the case anymore. You start with one already equipped.

Either in your pocket, for the starter one, or at the workbench. You'll need hide for that one, though. So you'll need to enter the elven quarter. Same for getting the materials for the workbench.

X is the standard hotkey for the deconstruction tool. Only works on player-placed building pieces, though. For everything else, there's your pickaxe.
