Future dev plans?
Have the developers said anything about remaining plans/updates? All I've seen was about the Steam launch update.

Can we expect anything more than bugfixes?

The game certainly has room to grow. I would love to see the devs continue to expand on the game. I would gladly shell out cash for cosmetic dlcs and expansions to support further development.

As in, not Moria? A completely new map, or just an extended area of our current one?

Things I'd love to see: pets, NPC allies, NPC merchants, more emotes, sitting animations, a dismantling bench, confirm button on the bedroll use, easily relocate placed objects, and a "sleep til X hour" option. I feel like the game needs more enhancements to play before they should be thinking of new maps.

Why do another mountain? Hell, this is almost the 'Lonely Mountain' right now with no other dwarves in it.

i do wish that post game we could use our gold to hire dwarves to come live and work in the areas we rebuild

Agreed, but they can't sell those in a DLC. My sense is that this is a company focused very much on their bottom line. I hope they have DLCs planned so that improving the base game is worth their time.

This game is still a rough diamond, but I fear they were only improving things before to make more sales at Steam launch.

i dunno in the dev stream the director said he as asked by the publisher was there anything they could think of that would make the game better... they guy said we'd love to get the actor of Gimli to do Voice work on the game... and publisher made it happen. seems they want the game to succeed

i will say i got my friends money worth outta this game.. buddy knows how much i love anything dwarf and bought it for me... i have put 90+ hours into it already and 100%'d the game
I love it, its the survival game i always wanted and they can only improve it

That just sounds like PR to me. I personally don't care at all who the voice actor is in the start and ending videos of the game. It doesn't improve the actual gameplay.

perhaps, but its a nice touch to have the guy who portrayed Gimili portray him in yer game... its a game made for fans by fans ... you can tell by how lore accurate the game is... they dig deep into dwarven lore in this one

Yes I like the lore and world building. But the gameplay is still quite rough. I have 76 hours in the game, so I am enjoying it, mostly.

I don't want the game to lean too heavily on the IP, the gameplay should be good by itself. Right now it feels like they're neglecting the gameplay issues because they can get away with it in terms of sales/reviews.

Starting the game for the first time and hearing John Rhys-Davies as Gimli again just made my whole year. It was a very nice touch, and I'm glad it got added in.
