Unlucky seed

i'm guessing i had a rough seed as the only accessible great forge in my sandbox world was the first one that is close too the starting area in the elven quarter and then.....Durin's Forge XD had to kill the Troll King with First age gear - even though i can see and have explored the areas where the map claims the other Great Forges area they were seemly between floors - like to even access the area of the map for the Great Belegost Forge i had to go out into a huge chasm of broken stairs and make my way down and across using platforms and rope ladders, include building blind at one point due to a waterfall etc finally got there and broke into a chamber with my Quarry master pick to find it was just a underground mushroom grove with a statue and the marker stated that the forge was now 16 fathoms directly below me but i had already cleared the floor below which was 60 fathoms deeper and still no forge =/

How did you unlock the Loom? In my current sandbox game I'm stuck on getting it. Never had this problem in story mode.

Ubasam wood unlocks the loom.

Ubasm wood alone does not open the Loom. In the Elven quarter, there are "pits" you can mine down into, and gather a ton of Elven wood. (also stone and Iron) There are also about 2-3 Ubasm wood spawns.

I harvested both - no loom. Yet.
