Online services not possible...

Playing on PC, get the game from Steam. When i want to join others or to Host a world, it always says me that, Online-Services not Avilable. My steam account is connected to Epic, but under EPIC-APPS it shows me nothing

Why is online dead? Why I can't host?

Hmmmmm curious. I have an idea. For you all who are experiencing this error, when you first launched the game, do you remember if Windows (assuming you are on Windows) gave you a pop up message asking if you wanted to allow the game on Public and Private networks?

If it's Windows 10, the pop up would have had two check boxes you could select, one for Public, one for Private. If it's Windows 11, it would have just been a single Yes/No question. Did it maybe git lost in the opening of the game? That happens a lot.

If not, try manually allowing it through the firewall. There are better guides for doing this online than I can write at the moment (amusingly, I'm commenting from a linux machine at the moment). Maybe that will help?

Also, another thing to check, in Steam, look at the bottom of the steam window, right in the middle. Does it say "Manage Downloads" or does it instead say "No Connection" ?

I fixed it by rebooting pc lol

I'm trying to crossplay with a friend whos on xbox and we keep getting "Online connection was interrupted". We was connecting perfectly last week so I guess online must be having a silly moment today.

We managed to get it working, he kept restarting his xbox instead of closing the game (the game stays open if you just do that apparently).
