I care. Post was informative for me. So you're wrong. Maybe try to stop being wrong.
Firstly as you progress past the opening area the scope of the game also expands and you can do much more.
Second the game for me is really good. I love the idea of survival games but never have time for the scope of them. I loved this game because it offers a much more focused experience.
Each zone is like a new level. You have to beat each zone before moving to the next and each zone will gradually give you more things you can do and more requirements to fulfil before you can leave.
It is absolutely NOT a traditional crafting game and was never once sold as that. When this launched on Epic the devs were very clear about that and their intentions for this game.
I buy a game i play the game i dont expect to have to join communities discords or other platforms to get information that should be available either on the steam store page or updates feed. i wasn't even aware of the marketing for the game besides looking on the new games list by chance.
My point is the start is always rough, play on story mode i guess, just to get the hang of it, i think i made a mistake going normal and not solo, but the game is gonna improve and become more complicated for sure, i just wish tools and weapons didnt break so easily, i still dont know how to fix things without needing to make new ones.
I certainly have not experienced all that the game has to offer but for me its the fundamental things that are lacking, its not something that is going to change. There is a lot that is done well and im sure they will add more later but as it stands i see no reason to continue. I am tired of having to invest in games and wait for them to be developed into a polished product or abandoned. i had no trouble with difficulty just in having fun. I also have since watched some endgame reviews and i cant say i am any more inclined to play than i was prior. i will likely keep it for now i have 2 weeks to refund but i doubt they will acknowledge any of my issues or implement anything game changing.
Struggling with the lameness of the 21st century too right.
If you class "nobody cares" as an actual insult, you need to get out more.
