Anyone know if a Sun lamp can kill a troll?
Sunlamp makes terraign count as light by sunlight for crops.

does lamp based sunlight count the same as natural sunlight since that light comes from crystals on the cieling?

i'm thinking for base defence that a sun lamp on the entrance can atleast remove trolls from sieges if it works.

No. I tried it. First troll I found. He walked right up into it and it didn't bother him. I had to use the 2 handed axe and died about 10 times, but eventually I wore him down.

As a work around you could place a floor, then a rough stairs i think it was called then another floor to create a raised foundation that they can't break or climb. If you made a wall of raised foundations or platform, you could limit their access at least.
